My Work

This is my second year at the company and I am in charge of designing machine tools using CAD.
We have worked on honing machines and robot arms, and designed the robot's layout, range of motion, and hand structure.
During my first year at the company, I had training in various departments, so I was actually involved in the design of five machines in that one year. I have a special attachment to the honing machine, which was the first machine I witnessed being shipped.
In design, I value the perspectives of manufacturing, assembly, and users, and in the future I would like to take on the challenge of working with AI and overseas projects as the main person in charge.

I decided to join KANZAKI because I was attracted by the bright atmosphere and the personalities of the employees.
I was looking for a technical position in the Kansai region involved in manufacturing, and this company caught my eye as a manufacturer with its own products. I was also attracted by the warm atmosphere during the interview and the workplace culture that made it easy to exchange opinions.
That impression has not changed since I joined the company, and the wide range of knowledge I gained through training is still useful in my current design work.
We have a culture of entrusting even young employees with responsible work, and it is an environment where they can grow.

The most rewarding thing is seeing the machines I designed being manufactured and operating in the field.
In particular, when designing a robot arm, it is necessary to consider the positioning, range of motion, and other aspects from multiple perspectives, and I found the complexity of this task rewarding.
I also learned the importance of paying attention to details, as I noticed and corrected a small mistake that later led to a big success.
I feel rewarded by being in an environment where I can learn a lot, even through repeated failures and corrections.

All of the senior staff are kind and provide thorough guidance and are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Even if there is something I don't understand, I don't have to worry about it alone; I can think about it together with my seniors and find a solution, so I can work with peace of mind.
In addition, by gaining experience under a variety of senior colleagues, I can learn about diverse perspectives and ways of thinking, which I feel helps me grow as a person.
At work, even when my seniors are busy, they never forget to be considerate of others, and it's also appealing to work with people I can respect as "cool adults."

If you are struggling with your job search, take another look at what it is you really want to communicate and whether you are able to express it in a way that clearly gets through to the other person.
If you are worried, it may be a good idea to talk to someone you can trust, such as a close family member or a university professor.
Listening to a variety of opinions may lead to new discoveries and confidence.
During my job search, I also consulted with many people around me and received support.

A job worth remembering

Gear Honing Machine FF260

The robot arm was installed with careful consideration given to its use

The product I have a special attachment to is the FF260 Gear Honing Machine, which was the first product I was involved in shipping.
This is a machine that finishes gear teeth with high precision, and I was in charge of designing the robot arm.
In addition to the structural design of the hand, we considered a wide range of aspects, including the arm's range of motion, installation position, and how to avoid interference with peripheral equipment.
During the on-site inspection, we had to respond to several points of criticism, and we worked together with our seniors to resolve them one by one.
This experience allowed me to experience the difficulty of designing, as well as the excitement of working as a team to create a product. I would like to continue to deepen my skills and create more products that I am passionate about.

It takes time to get to know someone, but once you do, your relationship will deepen (laughs).
The atmosphere in the company is very warm and homely, so I can talk to my senior colleagues about anything.
There isn't much overtime at my company, so I go straight home on weekdays and relax by watching movies and dramas.
On weekends, I look forward to treating myself to some delicious snacks to take home with my evening drinks.
On my days off, I like to go out and have fun, such as going to Kobe with friends to shop for clothes and miscellaneous goods, or to Kyoto to see the cherry blossoms.
It would be great if we could spend every day in peace and tranquility!
