1947 Kanzaki Kokyukoki Mfg. Co., Ltd. is established by Magokichi Yamaoka, the founder of the Yanmar Diesel Engine Co. Ltd. (now Yanmar Co., Ltd.), in Nagasu, Amagasaki City, Hyogo.
1948 Production of gears and continuous reverse and production for marine vessels is begun.
1955 Kanzaki achieves recognized success throughout Japan with the development of a gear-shaving machine.
1960 Head Office plant is established in Inadera, Amagasaki City.
1966 Centralized production of transmissions for Yanmar power tillers is begun.
1967 Production of transmissions for Yanmar tractors is begun.
1972 Production of rice planters is begun.
1977 Production of compact tractors is begun.
1983 Certified by the Ministry of Transportation as an approved manufacturer compliant with the “Ships Safety Act”.
1984 Certified by the Ministry of Transportation as an approved manufacturer by the ABS (American Bureau of Shipping).
1989 The Tuff Torq Corporation is established as a subsidiary company in Tennessee, U.S.A.
1992 The Tuff Torq Corporation is awarded with the State of Tennessee “Governor’s Excellence Award” and is the first Japanese company to be so awarded.
1994 Kanzaki Kokyukoki Mfg. Co., Ltd. and all Kanzaki products are certified under ISO 9001 standards for management of quality control systems.
1998 Representative office in Germany is established.
1999 Kanzaki Kokyukoki Mfg. Co., Ltd. is certified under ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems.
2001 PT. YKT Gear Indonesia is established.
2001 TRANSAXLE MANUFACTURING OF AMERICA CORPORATION established in South Carolina, U.S.A.
2002 Tractor and construction equipment operations are transferred to Yanmar Co., Ltd.
2003 Marine gear operations are transferred from Yanmar Co., Ltd. to Kanzaki Kokyukoki Mfg. Co., Ltd.
2004 The Head Office factory is expanded and the Amagasaki plant is relocated to that site.
2008 S.K.E. is consolidated in KANZAKI.
2009 Commercial production of I-HMT is begun.
2009 DUP, Dual Piston Pump, wins the gold prize by Yanmar Invention award.
2010 Kanzaki achieves recognized success in the development of YXH series, large gear box for marine vessels.
2011 KXH, Hydraulic 4WD, wins the gold prize by Yanmar Invention award.
2012 GSU180, Internal Gear Shaving Machine, wins the “Invention award” by JSAI, the Japan Society for the Advancement of Inventions.
2014 TZT, Transmission for Zero Turn Radius, wins the gold prize by Yanmar Invention award.
