1947
Founder of Yanmar Diesel Co., Ltd. (now Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd.)
Magokichi Yamaoka established Kanzaki Kokyukoki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. in Nagasu, Amagasaki.
1948
Started production of gears and marine speed reducers and reversers
1955
Gear shaving machine developed
1960
Factory established in Inadera, Amagasaki
1966
Centralized production of Yanmar tiller transmissions begins.
1967
Started production of transmissions for Yanmar tractors
1972
Started production of walking rice transplanters
1977
Equipped with a powershift transmission
Start of small tractor production
1983
In accordance with the provisions of the Ship Safety Law, the Ministry of Transport has designated the company as a manufacturing facility.
Be certified
1989
Established a subsidiary in Tennessee, USA
Established "TUFF TORQ CORPORATION"
1992
"TUFF TORQ CORPORATION" becomes the first Japanese company to receive the Tennessee Governor's Award for Excellence in the U.S.
1994
All products and the entire company are certified with ISO9001 (international quality assurance standard).
1997
Celebrating 50 years since its founding
1999
Received ISO14001 (environmental management system) certification.
2001
"PTYKT GEAR INDONESIA" in Indonesia
Established
In South Carolina, USA
TRANSAXLE MANUFACTURING OF
AMERICA CORPORATION" established.
2002
Agricultural machinery and construction machinery business transferred to Yanmar
2003
Hydraulic equipment, transmission and marine gear divisions transferred from Yanmar
Establishing the components business
2004
The head office factory was expanded and the Amagasaki factory was relocated to the same location.

A compact device for mounting on a zero-turn lawnmower

Winner of the Yanmar Invention Award Gold Prize

Developed the large marine gear YXH series

KXH (hydraulic 4-wheel drive) wins the Yanmar Invention Award Gold Prize

GSU180 (internal shaving machine) won the Invention Grand Prize from the Japan Invention Promotion Association.

Completion of the employee welfare building "Yawaragi Plaza"

TZT (zero turn riding mower transmission) wins the Yanmar Invention Award Gold Prize
